Once you've chosen the perfect accessories, including a screen protector, you can now start customizing your mobile device. Unlike cases, a screen protector is not always that easy to install. This means that if you have bought a high quality screen guard you will want to be extra careful. If they are not installed properly you will notice that there is dirt left under the screen guard or even air bubbles. You cannot keep removing it because it will not have the same stick as the first time it was used.
Step 1 is always to make sure that the screen is completely clean. The great thing is that you will notice that many protectors come with a cleaning cloth for your screen. Or if it failed to come with a cleaning cloth you can simply just use any microfiber cloth. Again, we cannot emphasize this enough, the screen must be completely clean and dry before installation can begin. Even if your screen appears clean, thoroughly clean the screen anyway. More than likely, oil from your face has transferred onto your screen. This oil can loosen the screen protector prematurely.
Also before you remove the protector from the film backing make sure to place it against your screen. It is always good to know how big the screen is in comparison to the actual screen guard. You will soon start to notice that not all of these protectors come as a perfect fit for your mobile device. It makes it very easy if you already have some sort of idea of you will install the screen protector.
Next, look at the screen guard and see if there are any small flaps that will work as handles. Some of them come with removable handles that are used during installation and then later removed. If there is no such flap, stick a piece of clear tape on the top and bottom of the screen protector. Once you have a way to hold it comfortably you can then start to position it on the screen. Don't ever touch the adhesive side of the screen protector. Doing so will leave smudges that cannot be removed. Once everything is in position, you can start to place the screen protector from the top edge. You then only need to slowly lay the rest of the guard down till you reach the bottom of the screen.
Once the screen protector is on the screen, you may remove the tape from the screen protector. Next, take a credit card and slowly try to smooth out any air bubbles under the screen protector. Refrain from lifting the screen protector up to release air bubbles. If you've placed the protector carefully, the air bubbles should be able to be removed when buffing them out with a card. After you've gotten rid of any air bubbles, you can snap on your case, charge your battery with your charger, and begin using the phone without worrying about damaging the screen.
