Interesting Video Recording Apps of a LG Optimus Slider

By Gareth Jale

Smart phones are very useful; they can do various things including recording videos and being able to playback them on the same device. In fact, the current line of smart phones is outstanding enough to capture high-quality videos, and can play back the same videos with the same quality as well. It's not possible to make a better smart phone with these current features, right?

However, this is not the case with LG, one of the many well-known mobile phone companies in the world. The LG company believes that they can still push the limits and boundaries of video technology, promising new and innovative ways to promote better video capabilities. Come October 2011, and LG released the newest addition to their smart phone family.

This phone, or LG Ruby outside the United States, is LG's newest venture on the 4G smart phone market. This device was released on October 11, and has the features that LG users are familiar with and have come to love. Powered by the fastest processor available for mobile phones, the Snapdragon S3 Dual-Core 1.5GHz processor, and equipped with an equally-impressive memory of 1GB RAM, this smart phone ensures that it can do everything your current smart phone can plus more. Its 16GB storage capacity (can be extended to up to 32GB through removable storage device) makes it a more viable storage device compared to previous LG smart phones. Another notable difference is that the cameras' quality are increased; from the previous iteration's 6 megapixel rear camera / 1 megapixel front camera, this device has 8 megapixel rear camera / 2 megapixel front camera, which makes it able to capture even better-quality videos.

With its added camera capacity, it can now record high-quality videos (720p-1080p) to up to 60 fps (frames per second). After recording your video, you can view it using the video application already installed on the smart phone. And if you want to, you can also edit it with this smart phone video-editing application (also installed). But if you want to use your own computer to edit your videos, or view the video with your friends, you can do so too by using accessories, specifically the data cable, that allows file transfer from your phone (or its memory card) to your computer and vice versa.

You can also show your videos to your families and friends by uploading your video files on the Internet. With its 4G connection capabilities, you can easily upload, or download, videos to video-sharing websites such as YouTube, Vimeo, and other websites. Of course, a working Internet connection is required for you to be able to do so. But even without an available hotspot, you can make your phone an instant hotspot just by enabling the option to do so. With that on, you can now proceed to share and let others watch your video anytime, anywhere.

Remember, if you want to use your smart phone mainly for recording and playing back videos, you might want to outfit it with the right accessories. One useful accessory is the case, which can protect your smart phone from damaged. If you don't want your smart phone's screen to get scratches and damages, you might want to opt for an LG Optimus Slider screen protector, which helps protect the screen from damage. LG Optimus Slider screen protectors are not expensive. These are some of the many accessories you might want to use so that you can protect your phone while you are recording videos in the open.
