The Use Of A Cell Phone Spy To Protect Children Gives Parents Control

By Don Aruba

The past 100 years has seen the appearance of some fascinating and exciting equipment, from the airplane to the computer. The actual creation of formerly fictional devices has spurred creativity and made some amazing technology commonplace as mobile communication devices have exploded with capabilities. This is very beneficial to individuals society as a whole and businesses, but they are susceptible to cell phone spy programs which, which can be either good or bad.

When the idea of mobile communication was being researched some 70 years ago, a method for making it work was devised. Unfortunately, the mechanics of building the support system were not available then. The methodology was there, as was the knowledge that being able to communicate over the existing telephone system while traveling would be wildly popular.

But now science can piggy back on the advances of an infrastructure which physically connects the globe, make the formerly impracticable available. Dividing up the country into segments, or cells and erecting receiver transmitter towers makes the system work. The cellular phones get their name from this premise, and as one moves the signal shifts from tower to tower.

There are vulnerabilities to this system of communicating, as it is an open air technology that allows for relatively easy interception. With that ability, the security of any information transmitted over the airways is suspect. There is an opportunity that comes with this vulnerability, however, and it can help parents in the most dramatic way.

Generation after generation concludes that the world is a more dangerous place to live as compared to how it was in their youth. Some of this is due to perception, children usually feel safer than adults do, because they have less experience with danger and are dismissive of what they consider paranoid fears of abduction or other dangers. Nevertheless, there are in fact people with ill intent searching for prey.

While the technology gives parents some solace in that they can contact their child at any time, at least in theory, it also means others can contact the child. Inquisitive by nature, the nefarious are expert at manipulating the curiosity and ensnaring them in many ways. Having the means to find out to whom a child has been talking and about what can eliminate concerns, or allow action.

The cellular devices have made it much easier to allow young adults more freedom, as contact is easier, but with it come trade-offs. If the teenager is informed of the programming and its intent, then it is a mutually beneficial technology. It provides comfort for the guardian, and allows more responsible independence for the teen.

Should the unthinkable happen and a teenager become a kidnapping victim, knowing the location of a smart phone could save their life. Typically, the teen will not let the phone out of their site, and so even if left behind it provides a clue to where they were. A cell phone spy can provide parents with tools to cope with the complex world their young adult lives in.
