When I Tried Using Medical Billing Services In My Medical Practice, It Made All The Difference In The World!

I recently started my own medical practice and might have been in major trouble without medical billing services other than my sister-in-law. After I graduated from medical school, I got a position in a local hospital so I could get some experience. Before very long however, I felt like I wanted to be my own boss and open my own clinic. During my time working at the hospital, I had gained a loyal client base, so I felt certain that opening my own practice would be a good idea. I knew that I would need to get someone to handle the paperwork, billing and other office work, and it just so happened that my sister's wife had some experience as an office manager and was looking for a job, so we decided to hire her.

Unfortunately, this did not go perfectly smoothly. She was a superb office manager and did a fantastic job with just about everything, but she did not have experience with billing and was struggling with it. She was not keeping the billing very organized and I was very troubled when we had some of our patients protest that they had been billed improperly.

Since she was family, it was a touchy situation, but while I was having lunch with an old friend from medical school, he casually mentioned that his clinic had contracted with an outside company for his medical billing services. I felt like this was the answer I was searching for and wanted to know more about it, but when I asked my friend, he did not know the specifics of it.

When I got home that evening I went online and started to research different Medical Billing Companies and compared the different options. I didn't waste any time before choosing one and getting going, so I could see if this arrangement would solve my problem.

My sister-in-law was actually thrilled when I told her, as it allowed her to run the office and do the book-keeping, which she was great at, and not have to stress about the billing. Right away, things began going so much better, the stress level dropped way down and everyone seemed so much happier. Everything was going so much better in the workplace, we were able to manage our patient load more efficiently and spend more time helping our patients and less time worrying about the billing problems. We've been using this system for several months now, and we have had absolutely no problems with the billing, which means that I just could not be happier.
