How To Use The Starcraft 2 Protoss Cheats

By Nick Wilson

It was around the early 90's that my best friend taught me how to use a computer. It was from him that I learned everything that I needed to learn, from basic stuff to complex. But my interest with computer grew when I learned how to game on it. And as far as I can recall, PC games developed by the Blizzard Company was the very first games I played. I developed a liking for the Role-Playing game Diablo, but Starcraft is bay far my favorite strategic game.

When I started playing Starcraft, I was definitely hooked. I even continued playing it with the sequel, Starcraft 2. SC2 is the game that turned me into a true gamer. There are a lot of reasons as to why I play it. I enjoy the sci-fi environment; I have the ability to choose what I want to do with the troops and resources that would get me a win; and I was able to hone my strategy skills which has also been helpful in sports. There are mainly 3 characters to play as: Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. For me it's all about the Protoss.

To give a brief background about them, the Protoss race once believed that they were the most superior beings in the entire universe given their highly advanced technology and their psionic abilities. Their reign of prestige was proved wrong when they were engaged on a war against the Zergs, and eventually on the Terrans.

There are quite a few advantages when you play as the Protoss race. They can provide a great defensive unit that can withstand any attack from the opposition; they have photon canons that can stop any enemy units from land or air, even when it's invisible; their probes can build multiple structures simultaneously; and they have the "warp in' technology which can be a great way transporting units into the battlefield. For the many years I have played the Starcraft 2 game, I have learned some of Starcraft 2 Protoss cheats. Here are just a few of them:

From the original Starcraft I have cheats on how to be invincible, how to reveal the terrain map, and to build structures more faster. If you are playing the game just press "ENTER" on the keyboard and a dialog box will appear. If you want your units to be invincible, just type "power overwhelming"; If you wish to see the entire map, just type "black sheep wall"; and if you want your structures to be build fast, just type "operation cwal". After typing each of the cheat codes, press the "ENTER" key again and immediately the cheat will take effect.

In addition to, here are some cheat codes I have learned from playing Starcraft 2: Exceed 200 supply limit - play as Protoss race and have the Dark Archons mind control any protoss unit. Do this on as many units as you want; Extra Supplies - play as protoss and instead of playing a custom scenario, choose the multiplayer option and do direct connect. Then create a game on a team melee and put all the same races in your team. For every race being placed, it's an extra 200 for the supplies; Shakespearean Idiocy - technically, this is not to be considered a cheat, but this is one interesting thing I have learned from playing the game. Play a protoss and click on any unit. Normally, the units have pre-defined response in the game. But once you over click a single character, they may say some other-worldly humor.

Although I still play Starcraft 2 today, I don't use the cheat codes while playing against another player. I like to use the cheat codes for games that are not so serious. I have been lucky to learn some Starcraft 2 Protoss cheats and I'm hoping to learn more as I play.
