Mlm business opportunities: how to tell the good from the bad and find the best mlm company

By James Galloway

Multi level marketing also referred to as mlm is hitting the Internet hard but with so many showing up how do you know the right ones to invest in.

These kind of opportunities are coming and going all of the time but not all of them do so well, in fact the majority fall short and only run a couple of years at the most.

Traditional multi level marketing and network marketing was done off line way before the Internet was about. These businesses were built on recommendation and the fact hard work was required was no secret.

Along with the introduction of the Internet came what I like to call the lazy marketer. Unfortunately these duplicate laziness and sell on hopes, dreams, and empty promises. These marketers are breeding and gradually killing mlm how it is meant to be done.

Online mlm business opportunities are starting up almost daily with anybody now being able to get their hands on the down line and commission pay out codes needed to track and pay. Because this is so easily available, people are not using it on a solid product and this is the problem.

The true back bone to any mlm platform is not the pay plan like you would think, it is in fact the product. If the product does not hold huge value or it is not in high demand or unique, then the platform will struggle. The product needs to offer longevity, quality, and uniqueness.

Money is very important but you cannot put the pay plan before the product. In fact the pay plan is one of the last aspects you should look at.

How does this create the so called lazy marketer then? Many people are sold on the make money over night, or simple push button system, or sit back and do nothing. This is duplication being caused by lazy marketers.

The true system to success is built on hard work which is done by many working together. A leading mlm opportunity will have an extremely powerful product at a reasonable cost. The better companies also tend to be honest up front about the hard dedicated work which lies ahead of them.

Unfortunately this is only the beginning. I believe we will see more of these companies come and go and unfortunately cause more damage to the mlm industry in their wake.

So to make sure you are working with the right kind of mlm business first of all check the product, make sure it ticks all the boxes on things I have covered, then do some research on the company, make sure they have some history, then look at the price of the product followed by the pay plan. All should fall into place if you look at all companies using this system.
